Were you surprised to see that Yoshimura Taku is temporarily closing his business (the latest update is that he may only be taking a break during Golden Week)?

Actually, it's not just him. After the new era name "Reiwa" was introduced, many industry professionals felt a new era had arrived and that they should step out of their comfort zones. Therefore, many have recently submitted applications for leave of absence or retirement. For example, Kaori, a veteran actress who debuted with Muteki, didn't want to continue and announced she would no longer be filming AVs...

Sigh, I never thought she'd just quit like that!

This actress should be very familiar to veteran moviegoers. Long before joining the AV industry, she was a famous race queen and gravure model. In terms of seniority, no one in this industry can compare to her, having started her entertainment career in 2000 and regularly appearing on television programs. Because of Kaori's high profile, the entertainment-only production company Muteki spent a lot of time nurturing her. If we were to use a current actress as an example, she would be Yua Mikami from 2009-2010!

Of course, some might think they "don't look alike," because Yua Mikami is youthful and an idol group member, while Kaori was over 30 when she was released from the industry. However, both received similar levels of industry recognition. Because of her high profile and her voluptuous figure (though many believe her breasts are fake), which was textbook-worthy, she remained active as an exclusive actress after leaving Muteki. Almost every male actor she worked with used the doggy style, frantically kneading her breasts and making moaning sounds of pleasure.

And then? Then Kaori became a project-based actress releasing films everywhere!

Everyone knows what happens when an actress releases multiple films: First, you'll be exhausted from filming, and your appearance might be ruined; second, if you film all kinds of films, the quality of your work will be inconsistent, and you might even be unbanned if you're distracted for a moment…

But compared to her work, Kaori's rapid aging in recent years is a bigger problem. As mentioned before, she entered the AV industry after she turned 30, and after all these years, she's become what many production companies consider an "auntie." So even though she still has fame, the signs of aging on her face and skin are undeniable:

While she could still manage, ten years is probably enough for Kaori. Although changing careers at her age might not be easy, we still hope she plans her career well, and thank her for the happy times she's brought us over the past decade.
