Yes, Faleno's poaching efforts continue!
After acquiring Minori Kaname on the free market, this emerging online adult video company has made another move: They've secured the exclusive actress "Yui Shirasaka" from Moodyz, and her first release after transferring to Moodyz, "FIRSTFALENO Electric Transfer Unbanned SP Yui Shirasaka," will be released on November 13th.
So, why Yui Shirasaka?
Firstly, Faleno has never given up on poaching talent. Yes, although some suspect Faleno has run out of money, their series of actions suggest that money isn't an issue. First, there was Minori Kawana, and now, in addition to Yu Shirasaka, newcomer Meisa Kawakita is also set to appear. Secondly, Dino, the agency to which Yu Shirasaka belongs, already has a good relationship with Faleno. Yume Nikaido is Faleno's strongest newcomer this year, so using the same channel to acquire another immediate asset is natural. Although S1 is known as the "Evil Empire," I think Moodyz has the strongest average quality of this year's rookies: Yagi Nana, Ono Rikka, Aoi Ibuki, and Minami Sora are all top-notch. While Shirasaka Yui has a good appearance and figure, her Twitter follower count is significantly lower, so...
So even if there were a contract opportunity, Moodyz would probably choose to leave, right?
But it doesn't matter. Whether Moodyz was caught off guard or chose to fold, Shirasaka Yui should have received more pay. An actress's career is limited; why not take the opportunity to switch to a different studio and get better pay?
As for the issue of Faleno's films receiving more and more negative reviews? I imagine those actresses who have moved to other studios must be quite excited (like Yoshitaka Hashimoto), but firstly, they won't say it publicly; secondly, their job is simply to make good films; everything else is something their agencies and production companies need to discuss beforehand; and finally, the high salaries are just too tempting—nothing's more exciting than seeing the numbers in your bank account skyrocket…
So, we can only wait and see when Faleno is willing to invest in improving the filming environment and quality. But before that, could they perhaps reduce the amount of censorship a bit?
