Have you ever attended an event hosted by an AV actress? Have you ever met female fans?
I've written about this before: times have changed. Back when this site held fan meetings, only one in 100 people was a girl. But now, every time we hold a photoshoot, two or three girls come. It's the same in Japan; many AV actresses have female fans. Why is Asuka Kirara a new fashion icon? Why did Mikami Yua establish her own brand? Why did Fukada Eimi open a plastic surgery clinic? It's all because they have female fans!
But I have a question: Don't female fans feel awkward attending these events? That was, after all, a male-dominated event...
In Taiwan, it wouldn't be like that; at least at ForAVer events, everyone was having a great time. It was also alright at events in Japan; at least no one dared to do anything reckless to avoid embarrassment. But things were different back home: a somewhat famous female fan, "Xu Wuseng," was on her Twitter... A post titled "The Melancholy of AV Actress Fans" on Twitter reveals the following:
"You like watching AVs? Let's be friends!", "Can I see your breasts?", "Can I do compensated dating?", "If you like watching AVs, you must also like sex, right?", "Where do you live? Can we add each other on LINE?"... Messages like these, heavily suggestive and even outright sexually harassing, bombarded her from all sides. No wonder the woman in the picture looks so overwhelmed. Not to mention, during the event, there was the sound of camera shutters clicking—yes, she was being secretly photographed again!
She mainly promotes Hashimoto Arina (橋本ありな). According to other fans, she is a typical Japanese girl, slim with slightly crooked teeth but a very cute appearance, which explains why she becomes the focus of fan meetings; but is this a blessing or a curse for her? Judging from this picture, she seems to be unable to enjoy it~
Next time you see an AV actress as a fan, remember not to get too excited!
