This perfectly captures the psychology of Tsubomi's (蕾) die-hard fans. As expected of Asagiri Jo, the plot is on par with an animated film. He truly understands Tsubomi, constantly changing her into various outfits as the story progresses. These range from futuristic, cosplay-like goddess costumes to a high school girl who's childhood friends with the male actor, to her future partner, and even a character who's near death after a car accident. The doctor who treated her, their final meeting under the cherry blossoms at the sanatorium, witnessing Tsubomi's (Rei's) retreating figure—I think Horiuchi Hajime (Horiuchi Hajime) ultimately couldn't keep her.
Although I don't know the actual filming result, I believe that Asagiri Kiyoshi and Tsubomi's (Rei's) "final dramatic work" will definitely be excellent.
