First, Asuka Kirara and Mikami Yua were coming, and next, Tenshi Moe and Sonoda Mion are also coming. Add to that Hashimoto Arina, with whom we've frequently collaborated over the past year, and thanks to the TRE Taipei International Adult Expo and the companies, we've had quite a few opportunities to work with top-tier actresses.

Although their appearances vary, these actresses mostly share some common characteristics: First, they are generally quiet and reserved in front of staff (I later learned that some are just slow to warm up, while others simply don't want to talk to you); they often whisper with their managers during breaks (mostly discussing the level of explicitness in their performances or gossiping about the industry); they have their own insistence on makeup (for example, Mion Sonoda insists on doing her own eye makeup, and Hashimoto simply tells the makeup staff to take a break and does everything herself); finally, to show that they are different, they will definitely impose certain restrictions on what others cannot do, such as not being allowed to wear Polaroid photos topless, or even worse, not allowing staff to ask for photos…

After seeing so many, I just felt that they were putting on airs, just afraid that people wouldn't know they were big shots. But it doesn't matter, as long as they meet the client's requirements, they can do whatever they want. I didn't feel like I did when I first started working. I really enjoy interacting with them during events (yes, I'm such a self-deceptive person); and speaking of which, whether it's an adult expo or a company event, overseas markets are a brutal stage for directly testing their popularity. Some actresses are indispensable, while others are people who only work with them once and then say thank you and never contact them again. After this TRE, I imagine some actresses will retire from the overseas stage:

However, the backstage situation isn't the focus of this article. What I want to talk about is the most important commonality among these top actresses: they are the bosses of their agents!

The general process for inviting actresses is as follows: We send an invitation to the agent, telling them the actress we want to work with, the job content, and the remuneration we can receive. As long as the agent is okay with it, the schedule can be arranged. However, these big-name actresses are different. Usually, after we send an invitation, we have to wait longer than with regular actresses because the agent must first report that they have a job offer, and the final decision on whether to accept it is up to the actress herself…

So don't think that those agents with the title of "president" and a fierce look who look a bit like gangsters have much power. Many times, they are just babysitters or even henchmen who follow orders to the actresses. Not only that, some actresses even decide their own future career paths. For example, Asuka Kirara made the decision to stop making AVs against her manager's advice. Other actresses often have opinions about the production companies' plans, refusing to act in films they don't like, because they believe they know what kind of films audiences want to see.

If an actress is on a winning streak, everything she does is fine, but if luck isn't on her side and she persists in her ways, it becomes problematic. The industry has changed rapidly in recent years, and a single decision can lead to disaster. If you see a former star fall to the bottom, don't blame the agency for their mistakes. Often, the actress herself should bear the most responsibility.
