Although there was negative news about her overdose and subsequent loss of consciousness, her continued updates on social media show that she's no longer using SOD. Star's Asada Himari (朝田日葵) wants to make a comeback; it's just a matter of who's willing to give her the chance.
Just like Anna and Horizawa Mayu (堀泽茉由), Asada Himari's first stop was also the adult video company Honchu. Her first work didn't use any misleading terms like "electric shock transfer"; she was directly given a "reverse cosplay" project:

However, they aren't poaching top stars but rather mostly seeking out actresses from project-based productions. Others include SOD Star and Faleno. Actresses from Star and Prestige often find it very difficult to find exclusive roles after their contracts expire (it's not impossible, but it's really hard).
This means that after her current role ends, Asada Himari needs to quickly find work. With her SOD Star experience, attracting production companies shouldn't be difficult. Hopefully, the new AV law won't harm her. Also, maybe she should lose some weight.
