These words coming from Julia are quite chilling.
Why? Because the last person to say something similar was from the same agency as Julia, named Mizuno Asahi, who recently announced her retirement in February…
So, does Julia want to quit?
Not long ago, she solemnly announced on Twitter that she "has no intention of retiring," and recently she has been busy raising funds for a photobook; it's hard to see any sign that she's tired of working. However, speaking of which, Asahi Mizuno previously said she would work until her passport expired (in 2022), and Akiho Yoshizawa also said during a visit to Taiwan that she had no retirement timetable. It was only when they later announced their retirement that everyone realized these actresses had long since given up on the industry. Could Julia be in the same boat?
Asking her agency's agent wouldn't yield an answer, so I asked another person close to their agency, Manejia. Their response was: "Currently, there's no indication that Julia is retiring, but..."
But what?! Don't scare me!

He continued, "But Julia has been in the industry for 10 years, so a decline in her performance is inevitable. Plus, this industry isn't what it was when she first debuted, so it's normal for her to have some regrets. When those regrets accumulate, they can lead to negative emotions like burnout. At that point, it depends on how her manager or the agency president comforts her."
So although this post was quickly buried by other posts, we should still keep this in mind and hope Julia doesn't overthink it. Everyone still supports her!
