Those who have visited the SOD website might have noticed their heavy promotion of the "Pension Murder Case," right?
Seeing the words "murder case" and the appearance of the five male actors on the cover, the overall atmosphere is very similar to "The Kindaichi Case Files": SOD is turning AV into a detective film—what's their secret?
It turns out, this is a massive cross-industry collaboration!
SOD collaborated with Tetsushi Morita, a member of the comedy duo "Sarapa Seishun no Hikari," to create this work: The plot is as follows: Five men and one woman end up living in the same villa by chance. They are... The residents of Room 1—reporter Ichinose (played by Shimike), Room 2—are married Nikaido (played by Taku Yoshimura), Room 3—still heartbroken from a failed relationship (played by Yuzuru Yuki), Room 4—detective Morita (played by Tetsushi Morita himself), and Room 5—still a virgin—Igarashi—each with their own secrets and reasons for being in this villa. Adding to the mystery is Room 6, the enigmatic woman "Yui Kawamura," forming a complex web of relationships...
Then, after a stormy night, Kawamura from Room 6 is murdered.

Damn, the naming conventions of rooms one through six are completely similar, and the locked-room murder plot is clearly a homage to Kindaichi Case Files. Judging from the trailer, it's a high-quality plot rarely seen in the AV industry. But here's the question: SOD went to great lengths, hiring comedians and spending so much money on location shooting in a villa, so who is "Kawamura Yui," who plays the deceased character?

She's already appeared on Twitter; she's a newcomer to the agency Cielo. While I think many veteran actresses would want to participate in this big production, SOD wanted to give opportunities to newcomers from the beginning. So, after auditioning 55 actresses, Kawamura Yui was chosen:
What about the 54 who weren't selected? Some actresses have also secured exclusive contracts with SOD, such as Hayami Iori (LIGHT), who recently debuted, and Tsubaki Koharu (Tsubaki Koharu, Bstar), the first actress in the new brand "Mogitate" (Freshly Picked).
